Circle Of Love
Letter Writing Group

The Circle of Love (COL) letter writing group is an organization of volunteers who send letters or messages of encouragement and support via postal “snail” mail.

The group is inspired by Mata Amritanandamayi; known by many as Amma, the hugging saint.

There are two ways to participate in the COL group.
Both are important for the program to exist :)
1. to be a letter writer
2. to be a recipient

WRITER  is a dedicated individual who sends a thoughtful letter, card, etc. to the COL recipient about once a week for 3 months, or whenever their writing cycle finishes.

RECIPIENT  is a patient and grateful individual receiving letters, cards, etc. from a COL letter writer about once a week for 3 months, or whenever the recipient would like to stop receiving COL letters.

If the recipient would like to write back to the COL letter writer that is okay.
However, it is not required of the recipient to write back to the COL letter writer.
The recipient may just receive and enjoy the mail sent to them :)

Circle of Love is a compassionate and dedicated group with intentions to help those in need with support and encouragement through the mail. Either writer or recipient may stop participating at anytime those circumstances are needed. Please let us know right away if you are not able to write or would like to stop receiving letters and we will adjust as soon as possible.
